UPS. The lane into American commerce.

UPS is how a European parcel reaches an American doorstep on a commercial schedule. We hold a direct account with UPS of Greece and we book two service levels from it.

What we do

We pack your order and ship it
on UPS, to 125+ countries, to the door on a commercial schedule, under a 1Z number you can follow.

Every parcel leaves our Patras warehouse on our own UPS account - we book the service, we clear the export, we pay the bill and we chase the exception. You get a 1Z number the moment it is scanned into the network, and it tracks on ups.com like any other UPS shipment. Because it is one.

Why the carrier matters

A late parcel is not an apology. It is a line on your seller score.

01

Every UPS scan feeds your Amazon metrics

Late Shipment Rate, Valid Tracking Rate, Order Defect Rate - Amazon reads these off the carrier's own scan events, not off anyone's intentions, and a seller who drifts past the thresholds loses the Buy Box before support even opens a ticket. Our UPS account scans clean at every handover, so the record Amazon sees matches the date we promised.

02

eBay's Top Rated badge is won one parcel at a time

Tracked despatch and on-time delivery are what build Top Rated status on eBay, and the badge is worth a lower final value fee and a better seat in search - lost exactly the way it was earned. A carrier that scans on collection and lands on the date is what keeps it intact.

03

Your own storefront has nobody else to answer for a missing number

A marketplace can absorb a shipping complaint. Your own site cannot: a buyer with no tracking number opens a dispute with their bank instead of a ticket with you, and that costs the order, the fee and the customer. Every parcel we hand UPS carries a 1Z number the buyer can follow within the hour.

The network behind it

Every UPS parcel starts on one floor. Patras, day and night.

How the carrier gets chosen

We rate the parcel. Then we book the lane.

Every parcel we pick is priced across every carrier account we hold, at the moment it is packed, against the delivery date the customer was promised. The carrier that meets the date at the lowest landed cost wins the parcel. That decision runs on our own rating engine, wired straight into the warehouse system, on every single order rather than a rule someone set once and left alone.

This is what a manufacturer is actually paying for: not a discount off a rate card, and not one carrier held up as the only answer, but a despatch decision taken parcel by parcel, backed by our own contracts. UPS is one of the accounts that decision reaches for.

The lanes we book

What we run through UPS.

01

UPS Standard

Day-definite road and ground within Europe. It is the lane we use when the parcel stays inside the continent and the date is comfortable.

02

UPS Express

Air priority on a guaranteed clock. Our published transit is 2 to 3 business days into Austria and 3 to 5 to the rest of the world.

Why it matters

What a UPS account buys the brand we sell for.

01

It is the same network TPL Americas ships on

TPL Americas LLC runs from New Jersey, 3PL-backed. A parcel that starts in Patras and a parcel that starts in New Jersey can land on the same UPS service, which means one tracking experience for the customer wherever the stock happened to sit.

02

Commercial addresses are the point

UPS is built around business delivery, and a large share of what we ship into the United States goes to a company, not a house. Commercial ground is where its pricing and its delivery discipline are strongest, and that is what we book it for.

03

One account, both directions

We hold the account directly with UPS of Greece rather than buying capacity through a reseller. That is what lets us put a return label on an outbound parcel and have the return come back on the same contract.

Start

One email starts it. Let’s get your parcels moving.

Tell us what you ship and where it lands. We’ll tell you straight whether UPS is the lane for it, which of the two services it travels on, and what it costs to land.

  1. 01

You send one email. Product, weight, destination countries.

  2. 02

We read it. No forms. No gatekeeping.

  3. 03

We rate it on our UPS account and every other one we hold. A landed cost, a delivery window, and the service it ships on.

This opens UPS’s own tracker with your number already in it. The number stays in your browser and never reaches us.

Questions

UPS questions we get asked.

Which UPS service will my order ship on?

We rate the parcel at despatch and book UPS Standard when the delivery date allows it, UPS Express when it does not. The tracking number tells you which one you got.

Does UPS deliver to a residential address?

Yes. UPS carries residential and commercial addresses alike; the commercial network is simply where we lean on it hardest.

My UPS number starts with something other than 1Z.

That is normal. UPS issues 9-digit and 12-digit reference numbers alongside the 1Z waybill format, and all of them work in the tracker above.

UPS and its marks are trademarks of their owner. TPL S.A. holds a carrier account with them and neither owns them nor acts as their agent. Tracking opens on ups.com; we do not receive or store the number you enter.
