Case study · Cross-docking

Made in Athens.
Sold in forty countries.

Boulekos Dynamic has built engines since 1980, out of its own premises in Metamorfosi, Athens, with one of the first car dynamometers in Greece on the floor. In 2005 it took its own product to market: Sprint Booster, a plug-in module that reprograms the accelerator signal on drive-by-wire cars. It is manufactured in Greece, patented in nine jurisdictions, TÜV-tested, and exported to more than 40 countries. We cross-dock the range through our own channels, and every order ships from stock Boulekos already holds.

The catalogue

One product, twelve hundred fitments.

The product

Sprint Booster V3

A plug-and-play module that reprograms the accelerator signal. No cut wires, nothing spliced into the car’s electronics.

The range

1,200+ part numbers

An RSB code per make, model and year. What a customer buys is a fitment, not a size.

The protection

Nine jurisdictions

Greek patent GR1005429, plus grants in the US, Europe, Australia, China, Canada, South Korea, South Africa, Mexico and Russia.

The approvals

TÜV, EC type approval

Tested and certified for road use - plus SEMA’s Best New Performance-Street Product, out of 1,400 entries.

The operation

A Greek patent, on the channels we run.

The product was already exported. What it did not have was a merchant running it listing by listing on the marketplaces where a driver actually searches for their own car. That is our half of it.

Where it sells

Amazon, under the Boulekos Dynamic brand.

TPL Parts, our own automotive storefront.

Google Merchant and branded search across the EU.

Listed by fitment, in the language of the market.

The trajectory

Every listing is a compatibility claim.

A wrong fitment is a return, a bad review and a refund, so the catalogue work is the growth work. Through 2026 we rebuilt the range’s titles around the part number itself - the string a driver with a 2012 Golf actually types - and put the make, model and year binding behind it rather than in a footnote. Slow, unglamorous, and the reason the range lists cleanly on channels that punish a mismatch.

Why it fits cross-docking

Twelve hundred variants of one product, each selling in ones. Nobody should hold that as stock - and with Boulekos manufacturing in Athens, nobody has to.

Best when You make a strong product and want everything else off your desk. You supply volume and want proven channels without building D2C. Deep catalog or made-to-order: committing stock upfront makes no sense. You keep ownership and accounts; operations are what's eating you. The operation is the bottleneck: you want it multiplied, not outsourced.
The trade-off We take it on selectively: your brand must earn repeat purchases across borders. Less brand-building than D2C. We sell where demand already exists. Slower delivery promise than stocked models; margins are tighter for both of us. Your working capital stays tied up in inventory because you keep the inventory. Your people keep the work. They don't keep their habits.
