Skroutz Point is a pickup network across Greece, and it is the lane we book when a buyer would rather collect than wait in. We hand the parcel to the Point they chose and they take it out with a code.
We pack your order and ship it to a Skroutz Point, across Greece, on your customer’s own clock, and back again if it has to come back.to a Skroutz Point.across Greece.on your customer’s own clock.and back again, if it has to.
The parcel leaves our Patras warehouse for the Point your customer picked, and they collect it with a code whenever suits them - no delivery window, no second attempt, no signature at a door nobody is behind. You get a voucher number the moment it is scanned, and it tracks on skroutz.gr like any other Skroutz Point parcel. The return goes back through the same network.
A late parcel is not an apology. It is a number on your account.
01
Skroutz shows a delivery date, and holds you to it
A Greek buyer starts at Skroutz, and the listing they compare carries a delivery estimate and a seller rating built out of whether that estimate held. The carrier is what decides it. We despatch same day from Patras onto a lane that scans, so the date on the listing is a date we can keep.
02
A pickup point cannot miss the customer
The expensive failure in Greek delivery is nobody at the door: a second attempt, a support ticket and a customer who now has an opinion about your brand. A parcel that waits at a Point until its owner walks past has no failed attempt to fail at, which takes a whole class of complaint off your account before it happens.
03
On your own store there is nobody else to blame
A marketplace absorbs the complaint. Your own storefront does not: a buyer with no tracking number phones you instead. We give every order a voucher number the hour it is scanned, and a person in Patras who can chase it.
The network behind it
The floor your parcel leaves from. One building, in Patras.
How the carrier gets chosen
We rate the parcel. Then we book the lane.
Every parcel we pick is priced across every carrier account we hold, at the moment it is packed, against the delivery date the customer was promised. The carrier that meets the date at the lowest landed cost wins the parcel. That decision runs on our own rating service, wired into the warehouse system, and it runs on every order rather than on a rule someone set once.
This is the part a manufacturer is buying. Not a discount on a rate card, and not one carrier held up as the answer, but a despatch decision taken per parcel with our contracts behind it. Skroutz Point is one of the accounts that decision can reach for.
The parcel goes to the Point the customer chose at checkout and waits there for a code. No delivery window, no second attempt, no signature at a door nobody is behind.
02
Returns through the same network
A pickup network runs in both directions. The return leg is the half that matters most to a manufacturer, because a return that is easy to post is a return that comes back into stock instead of into a dispute.
Why it matters
What a Skroutz Point account buys the brand we sell for.
01
Out-of-home delivery is what Greek buyers keep asking for
Collection at a Point is now a first choice rather than a fallback, and a checkout that cannot offer it loses the buyer who works the hours a courier drives. Offering it is not a logistics preference; it is a conversion one.
02
It sits alongside the door lanes, it does not replace them
Not every parcel fits a Point and not every buyer wants one, so this is a third option our rating service can reach for rather than a lane we push everything onto. Cash orders and oversized boxes still go to the door.
03
The return is the half that decides the reorder
On your own storefront a return is where you lose the customer or keep them. Posting it back into the same network, on their own clock, with no queue and no printer, is the difference between a refund and a replacement order.
Start
One email starts it. Let’s get your parcels moving.
Tell us what you sell and where in Greece it goes. We’ll tell you straight whether it fits a Point, what it costs to land from Patras, and which lane your returns should come back on.
01
You send one email. Product, weight, where your buyers are.
02
We read it. No forms. No gatekeeping.
03
We rate it across every carrier account we hold. A landed cost, a delivery window, and a straight answer on out-of-home collection.
This is the one lane on this site with no tracking box, and that is deliberate. Skroutz Point notifies you itself - by SMS and in your Skroutz order - the moment the parcel reaches the Point you chose, and that notification carries the collection code you actually need. There is no public page we could put a number into on your behalf.
If the notification has not arrived and you think it should have, tell us the order number and we will chase it on our account. That is a person in Patras looking at the shipment, not a form.
It is in the notification Skroutz Point sends when the parcel reaches your chosen Point, and in the despatch email we send when the order leaves Patras. If you have an order number from us and no voucher, contact us and we will look it up on our account.
How long will the parcel wait at the Point?
It waits for the holding period the network sets, and the notification you receive states it. If you cannot collect in time, tell us before it is returned and we will arrange it again rather than refund it out from under you.
Can I have it delivered to my door instead?
Yes. Out-of-home collection is one of the options at checkout, not the only one; the door lanes are still there, and a cash-on-delivery order always goes to the door.
Skroutz Point and its marks are trademarks of their owner. TPL S.A. holds a carrier account with them and neither owns them nor speaks for them.
