A ski pole from 1958.
Four sports, one territory.
SCOTT began in 1958 when Ed Scott, an engineer and skier in Sun Valley, Idaho, tapered the first aluminium ski pole. Sixty-eight years on it is a Swiss company spanning bike, winter, motorsports and running. We hold it exclusively for the Greek territory through our sister company RTM Helmos, buy the stock outright, and sell it on the channels we already run.

- Exclusive for Greece
- Bike, winter, moto, running
One brand, four sports.
Skis, poles, goggles
The category the company was born in, and still the one Greece buys first.
Road and mountain
SCOTT built the first carbon-fibre mountain bike in 1995. The range runs year-round.
Goggles and protection
The first purpose-built motocross goggles, in 1970, and the line that followed them.
Shoes and apparel
Trail and road, and the category that flattens a winter brand’s summer.
Greek shelves. And every marketplace we run.
SCOTT gets both halves of a market from one relationship. RTM Helmos places the brand in Greek ski shops and its own Kalavrita store; we list the same catalogue across the marketplaces and ad channels we operate. No other structure we have does both at once.
Where it sells
Amazon Seller Central and eBay.
Skroutz and eMAG.
Google Merchant and Google Ads.
rtm.gr, alongside the Greek wholesale network.
The United Kingdom leads, then Greece, Germany and Austria.
A winter brand, selling all year.
Winter is still the peak, and always will be. What the four-category catalogue buys us is the rest of the calendar: bike and running carry the summer months that a ski brand would otherwise sit out, and the United Kingdom has become the strongest market for a brand most people first meet on a Greek slope.
Why it works
An exclusive territory, a catalogue with no true off-season, and a distributor and an e-commerce operator that answer to the same table.
Same questions. Straight answers.
SCOTT runs on B2B2C. Here is that column beside the other four: same questions, straight answers, one sheet.

| Best when | You make a strong product and want everything else off your desk. | You supply volume and want proven channels without building D2C. | Deep catalog or made-to-order: committing stock upfront makes no sense. | You keep ownership and accounts; operations are what's eating you. | The operation is the bottleneck: you want it multiplied, not outsourced. |
| The trade-off | We take it on selectively: your brand must earn repeat purchases across borders. | Less brand-building than D2C. We sell where demand already exists. | Slower delivery promise than stocked models; margins are tighter for both of us. | Your working capital stays tied up in inventory because you keep the inventory. | Your people keep the work. They don't keep their habits. |
